So Cool Hostel Porto

If you want to be close to the beach and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, this hostel is the perfect choice. It is located slightly outside of the main tourist area, but still near to the center and easily accessible by metro. the hostel is also conveniently situated near the train station, making it very convenient for travelers coming from or going to the airport. the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. the breakfast is tasty and there is a lovely garden view from some of the rooms.

The room was incredibly spacious and even had lockers for our bags. Despite the rainy weather, the view of the back garden was enjoyable. The included breakfast was good with a variety of options. The hostel and surrounding area were quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff, particularly Rogerio and Miguel, were extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

Had an amazing New Year's stay! Loved the friendly and helpful staff who made my experience unforgettable. The clean and spacious rooms were a great plus, and the included towel and extra blanket were a nice touch. The location was key, with easy access to the supermarket and the city center. And the fact that there was a metro station just around the corner made exploring Porto a breeze.

Although overall a great stay, there were a couple of downsides. The shared bathroom could have been better, as it was uncomfortable to close the door while sitting on the toilet.

The hostel is located near the station, which was very convenient. the staff were friendly and spoke English, making communication easy. They were also very helpful and provided us with a key for the shared bathroom, giving us privacy. there was a kitchen available for us to use and the breakfast provided was really good.

If you arrive between 00:00 and 08:00, there is no night reception and you won't be able to enter the hostel. This was a big inconvenience for us as our flight was delayed and we had to spend extra hours at the airport.

The website was a bit misleading in regards to parking options, as it implied that onsite parking was available when it was not. the washing machine did not clean clothes effectively.

Nice location, 3 mins walking from the metro. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Keys for all doors. Wi-fi was ok. Beautiful hostel with a hotel-like feel. Bondi Cafe nearby with good food. Amazing and huge terrace to hang out on.
